Why did my battery stop working after i removed it from laptop?

I think you mean the OS passwd, you can reinstall this software to get around this, but if it's truly the baios you will need to open up the computer remove the watch type battery and boot it up while batttery is out turn off after boot and reinsall battery and put in your OS disk and booot and reinstall OS.

CHECK THE CHARGER CABLE AND CHECK THE CONNECTIONS PARTS BETWEEN CHARGER AND BETWEEN THE LABTOP

The CMOS batter could have been solder onto the motherboard. In most laptops, the batteries are not removable. They only power the BIOS settings (time, date, computer configuration, etc.) They do not power the LCD.

Sounds like you have something else wrong.

remove battery and clean the battery terminals and contacts. Now insert the batttery and charge fully.
Once it is charged make a call to check. If the battery level is dropping the batttery can be faulty.
If not clean the set and test once again. If fault is present a harware issue can be a suspect.

Turn back your laptop, at the back side of your laptop, there will be a slider, next to it is your batter container..Just pull slider and slide the container top, your laptop battery gets removed

Since you said your battery is old definitely i think the problem has to do with your batttery.All you need to do is to get to a computer store and replace your battery so that your Laptop can work properly again.

u try one thing just shutdown laptop remove battery and charger from laptop then after push power button for 1 minute after that install battery and charger. but not start laptop and check that charging led of laptop is running if it's runnig then put in same condition for 3 to 4 hours after that start laptop using battery only after proper booting when os load attech the charger and check charging status.

first turn off the computer and remove the battery
clean the terminals where the battery makes contact usually with rubbing alcohol and also clean the battery part too and let dry
now place the battery in the machine and reboot now if the batttery is still good and the charging system is in good working order the battery should show up on the task bar as charging also go to the power section and look to see if the battery is showing up their

try changing ur battery or jst remov ethe battery insert it again and then restart the phone
