Question about Bose Wave Radio
Your problem is likely a bad capacitor in the power supply. Unfortunately though, Bose does not release their parts lists or schematics, effectively
creating a monopoly for parts and repairs. In fact, their web site
says that the Bose factory is the only option for service or repair.
They used to list a flat rate repair charge on the web site, but
removed it - probably because it scared too many people. Their
troubleshooting guide (below) might help, but it's very simplistic.
Before you invest in expensive factory repair on one of these trouble prone sets, you might want to investigate the new HD radios -- better sound at a MUCH lower price.

Try replacing the battery on the bottom of the system - alot of people miss it because you have it constantly plugged into the mains, but replacing this (somehow) re-sets the system, and 9 times out of 10 solves the issue.

It is jammed and there is no way to take the cd out but remove the cover and manually eject the cd out. It is possible that the motor got stuck.

Bose have fixed, standard repair rates for all faults and should be able to provide you with an estimate before sending. These are almost always economical to repair...
Depending on the age of the product, it should be repairable, but if not, they may offer a trade-i to the latest version

There is a fuse you can check. Also a rectifier bridge, a 3 terminal regulator IC (18V in, and 10V out) as well as a small transistor Q1 which often shorts. Easy and cheap fixes, or I would offer to buy your non-working model Bose if you decide to sell it.
