Question about Gateway FPD2275W LCD Monitor
I have a Gateway monitor 2100.The on off button on front doesn’t turn the unit off and on. I have to unplug the power cord. That worked for a while but now all I get is a bright power on blue light for a second or 2 and then the blue light dims, no picture nothing.
I have taken it apart and found that:
A: With NO ribbons plugged to screen panel and I plug in power, the off/on works ok. I get a bright blue light for about 10-15 seconds, like it's trying to boot up and then the light goes yellow like it's going into sleep mode. I can hear a faint buzzing noise from one of two little black boxes on the main curit board it is marked T302. (Could this be the problem)?
B: With the main ribbon plugged into the panel and power applied. I get symptoms as described (NO BUZZING SOUND).can someone help me? I paid a lot of money for this thing.
Same here, your light went out if you put a VERY bright light on you'll be able to see something on the screen if you plug it up to your computer, if you are getting a new one go dell its worth it becase they last and are durable.
