Is the Hunter portable AC High Effiency Model 31125 to be plugged into a 220 outlet only?

if the plate on the side says 220 volts then it will only work on 220 -250 volts outlet
at a 110 volts outlet it will fail and at anything more than 250 volts it will burn up

110 volts, rated TV was plugged into 220 volts power supply. Now when it was plugged into an 110 volts supply its not getting on? What could be the causes? and please suggest solutions.

It probably fried the power supply in the TV unfortunately. If the electrical surge stopped there then it should just be a matter of swapping out the power supply. Provide a make and model of television and I will see if I can help find one with instructions on how to change it.

I plugged 110 volts xbox 360 into 220 volts outlet. and it's dead. what will i do?

Unless the item has internal fuse, it is burned up.
Look for product manual.
Many times, there is a glass fuse rated for unit voltage.
Replace fuse.
Each fuse has specific markings.

I plug it in 220V

Do I understand you plugged this device into 220 Volts? Is this a machine designed for 110 Volts? Check the fuse - if it is burned out (as I suspect it will be) replace it. If the machine comes on - check out its operation. If it does not come on - I think that is the end of the road for your machine. To get to the fuse, remove the cover. Find the fuse near where the cord enters the cabinet.

I don't know where you live (please do not say) nor what the prevailing standard house hold voltage is. I don't know where you got the oven and please don't say. I really don't understand how you accidentally plugged a 110 Volt machine into a 220 volt outlet - that would be interesting to hear about.

My drier 110 volts was accidentally plugged to 220

The least of your problems would be a burnt out relay or internal switch which can be replaced at reasonable expense. In a worst case the motor or heating element "fried" and it'll be cheaper to buy a new dryer.
BTW 110 and 220 plugs are entirely different and a 110 plug cannot be plugged into a 220 outlet.

Dryer will not start door is closed

Carefully check your 220 outlet. You can check a 220 buy a volt meter. Make sure your volt meter is set over 220 range and put the red lead into the slot and black lead into the L shape. It could be you are not getting 220 power out of your outlet. We all know on a 220 outlet both legs have 110 on each side. A dryer takes 110 for the motor, and takes 110 for elements.

Wii got pluged to a 220 volt outlet

I'm going to go ahead and say it probably fried the Wii. I would maybe try getting a new adapter either way if it's at reasonable cost and see if it works again though.

Maytag neptune dryer MD6

All you need to do is check the element for continuity with an ohm meter, if it has continuity the element is good. The dryer also will run on 110 volts of power but it needs 220 volts too run the element, so check and make sure all the conections on your cord are secure and that you have 220 at your wall outlet.

Wiring a stove

If there is no 220 outlet in the location where you're planning to put the stove then you need to run wiring to the new location. There are two seperate phases of 110 volts coming to your home. The voltage between each of these phases and the neutral wire is 110 volts. When your house was wired only 1 of the 110 volt signals was run to your 110 volt outlets. In order to create a 220 volt outlet you need both of the 110 volt signals run to the outlet.

If you have a straight shot between your breaker box and the location where you need the 220 volt outlet then this is not too big a deal. If you have finished ceilings and walls inbetween then this will be much more difficult.

If you're not comfortable with electrical wiring this would be a good time to call a licensed electrician.
