The machine won't run in any cycle. It gives a loud buzz.
If the buzzing is coming from the bottom of the machine, then first check to see if any lint has accumulated in the filter area. If that is clean, then it is probably a defective drain motor. The first thing an LG washer does is to try to drain any remaining water from a previous load from the tub. If the impeller on the motor wears out, it will start to wobble, not pump any water, and causes the vibration/buzzing sound.

Hi,
You don't have to drain all the water out after each use, you just need to clean things up a bit.
There is a problem with the design, in that the drawer area is a breeding ground for mould.
There will be a latch on the drawer you need to press to remove it - take it out and wash it in a hot solution of borax. Alternatively bleach it, and then wash in hot detergent.
Use a spray cleaner designed to kill mould and mildew, and use it with a brush inside the drawer apature to remove all mould build up. It's quite a grotty job - but needs doing.
After that, use a cloth to clean as far back into the pipe as you can.
Do two washes on hot with bleach, then a rinse, and it's good to go.
It is most important you leave the drawer open after a wash, and the door open more than 2" on these machines to prevent it, and a hot wash occasionally for whites. Tell the manufacturer that you won't be buying their brand again.

individual heavy articles are loaded
(bath mat, bath robe, etc.) and the
imbalance is too great, after several
attempts to restart the spin cycle the
machine will stop and the error code
will be displayed.
Solution:
Add 1 or 2 similar items to help
balance the load.
Rearrange load to allow proper
