  • gets lots of people
  • host a barbecue
  • and start dis-assembly
Of course, empty the pool first!
  • Then begin by removing the top rail
    • Screws will be on the piece over the joining rails.
  • then remove the ridgidizing bars
  • then remove the plastic coping strips
  • then lift off the liner off of the wall
    • Lay it into the pool
    • fold it, nicely into a square
  • locate the bolts & nuts that join the wall
    • remove them
    • then start rolling into a roll
This is where the multitudes of people come in, during the time the ridgidizing pieces were removed, the wall is very unstable & very wobbly!!!! People need to hold it from falling over and bending the wall. Once the wall is no longer attached in an oval or circle, and started to be rolled into a roll, you will need to have the people work as a team and lift out of the bottom ridgidizing pieces and stabilize the process of rolling the wall.
Once the wall is rolled up, gather up the bottom rails and the foot pads.

Good Luck.

Can I use this in an above ground pool

in ground or above ground the only difference is the plumbing to and from the above ground pool
place the pump and filter well away from the pool and use imagination and pvc pipes to plumb it in.

Above ground pool how to get and keep crystal clean water

If you clean your filter frequently, and keep your chlorine level to at least 5.0ppm it will help but with "out of the box" above ground pools the filter is really undersized. Check to see if a larger filter or pump can be installed on your pool. Also because it is an above ground pool if the temp gets above 84 degrees the chlorine dissipates rapidly, you can switch to Bromine which dissipates at around 104 degrees and provides the same sanitation levels as chlorine.

These values will provide balanced swimming pool water

I have a proline de 1.5 hp above ground pool filter. How much de do I put in the filter? Thanks

one pound of D.E. for every 10 square feet of filter area, there should be a data plate on the filter telling you what the filter area is.

Can a person use a hayward de ec40 for either above ground pools or inground pools? if not why?

Yes as long as you are sure to match the flow rate of the pump to the filter. The biggest limit will be the low maximum flow rate the EC40 has. It will clog up to fast if installed on a larger pool...inground pools are generally larger (more gallons of water) than above ground. The pumps are more important to match as far as using inground rated units for inground pools and above ground for inground. Filters only care about flow rate and overall volume of water to keep clean.

Im just wandering if I can use a Bestway filter pump on any pool?

Depends on the size of the pool, is it above ground or in-ground, Typically above ground pools use a 1/2 hp pump an in-grounds use 1 hp or more, spas use even higher. Hope this helps.
