3 blinks means the flyback needs replacing. very easy repair. You can get a flyback at the following link for under 50.00 with free shipping and free tech support so you can install it yourself. You need flyback 259296 here is the link.

i have had same problem repairman states splitter is bad has an upgrade for $350.00 the next time repaior man could not find part,,advised he would have to replace entire box this cost $275.00 and also states thiis would be a later model than my original box,the picture is great never been this good.note when i say box i ment the box inside tv with all the electronice and projector
