Question about Electrolux Washing Machines
Just open the unit and look for the eeprom IC 2407 or 2408 or 2404 or 24xx or whatever the IC series
do have .This is the memory IC 24xx that stocks all the command . This IC has 8 pins 4mm wide 6mm long. If you find this IC just short
pin 3 and 6 If no effect 3 and 7 it will shut down automatically. Then power on
again then is already reset. Just use a tweezer or a paper clip to short the
pins. Feel free to ask whatever the result.
Hope it may helps:

If this is a brand new machine it would be best to call your warranty service provider. You can also try to unplug the machine for 5 minutes or so and see if that will reset the electronic control. The only fault code that I could find close to yours was either an EF1 (clogged drain pump) or an EF2 (too much soap). To satisfy your curiousity remove the front service panel and look for the tech sheet that should have come with machine. A list of fault codes should be in there somewhere.
Thanks for contacting Fixya.

Tips for a great answer:

Hello friend, thanks for your post!
If your Frigidaire washer, LTF2140ES0, is not starting it could be a possible issue with your control panel or door latch. Is your washer showing you any error codes? Double-check to ensure that the door is closed. If it is secure, reset the power to your washer for roughly ten minutes. You can do this by either unplugging it or flipping your circuit breaker into the off position. If the issue continues, it could either be the door lock assembly or a communication problem with the control board. I would recommend reaching out to an experienced appliance tech just to ensure no troubleshooting step has been missed. I hope these troubleshooting tips help you in some small way. -Matt
