Air conditioning ports -to add air conditioning fluid

What you are wanting to add is R134a Freon. The port that you are talking about looks like the same connection that is on your tires. It is called a Schrader valve. They have a cap on them like a tire valve stem. They are located on the air conditioner lines that lead to and from the compressor to the cabin. They are different sizes and if you are not familiar with them, find someone that is because you can get hurt or damage your a/c if you make a mistake.

Where is the a/c orifice on a 2003 windstar? where can i find pictures or video of changing a/c orifice?

the orifice is in the TX valve and cannot be changed unless you change the valve unit. That means letting all the gas out and then having to regas the system when finished. This is a job for a auto air conditioner specialist . The TX valve is on the inlet to the evaporator core up under the dash

How do i know if the ac needs to be recharged or replaced in my 1990 toyota celica gts.blows hot air.

Normally, if when you turn on your AC the compressor will activate and you can visually see the pump turning if you look. If it turns, then you can attempt a recharge. If it doesn't turn, then first check the fuse for the AC and if that is good then your compressor might not be any good.

While this is just a quick check, and you system will probably take further diagnosis, it is a general guideline that should get you into the ballpark.

Dear good day i have kia mohave 2009 whene i run the rear A/C it gives me hot air and i cant change it to cold

There might be a simple problem with the cabling or linkage to change from hot to cold or the whole system may need a simple regas to the correct cc's for your vehicle.
I take it the compressor and other components are in tolerance.

My bottom freezer has stopped producing cold air, fan still works, any thoughts ideas, Daniel

if the compressor keeps switching on and off in short bursts, its your gas thats finished. it may need a regas. gas being finished may be from either standing a long time, it being an old freezer, or a gas leak. you'll need a repairman to regas it and also for checking for leaks.

Ac woes

When you open car in morning is there a strange smell in it? You can check ac pressure with a tyre gauge should have a filler looks like a tyre valve near ac unit under bonnet check if it has pressure if not you have a leak and need to find and fix that befor regas. If leak suspected (you got not preasure in unit) get ac regasser out and tell him/her you think it maybe leaking and if passenger floor wet and your system still uses freon good chance you have a leak, they should dye the gas and the leak will become very obvious very fast once car started and ac turned on. But if you use freon you may not be able to regas depending on the laws in your neck of the woods. Here in australia if your useing freon and you need to regas you have to change a fair bit to use a legal gas which depends on type of refrigerant unit installed.
