- When pressing the power button the camera give three quick beeps (the green LED falshes), the lens extends as normal and then the screen is illuminated with my start up picture. Immediately the lens contracts, there are three quick beeps and the camera shuts down! I have attempted to operate the camera with/without the SD memory card, reinserting the battery, etc. HELP- garydavidDec 12, 2007

- doesnt turn off...have to remove the batteries to shut down- dsquare
