Open the front passenger door-look at the dash from the side-there's a button you press and then the fuse box door will drop down under the glove box

I have a 1991 Rolls Royce Silver Spur II. I have a few questions. The back window makes a noise but does not roll up or down. Next question the automatic door locks dont work. And finally I just replaced...

Back window is probably jammed or motor in it might be bad. Check the fuse block for the door lock fuse. You might want to have that new alternator checked out to see if it's putting out juice, also check to see if the wiring is hooked up correctly.

Front armrest cig lighter inop cannot find fuse. checked all fuses in trunk except maxi fuses. driver found chewing gum wraper in socket

Look behind the glove compartment. There may be a fuse block location similar to the old Silver Spurs. I really doubt this is going to be anything serious. Is he in posession of the Owner's handbook. It should give the location of fuses for instances such as this and is written for the driver for proper maintenance.

How do I retrieve diagnostic codes from a 1991 Rolls Royce Silver Spur 3

you can use one of those silly code readers BUT it will not give you what the codes mean, and suprise, suprise ROLLS ROYCE will NOT give you the code meanings.....best solution is to take the car to a dealer and ask them to do a diagnostic report (in writing) this will cost BUT you can then decide if you are capable of the repair yourself.....alternatively you could try the RR owners club.CO.UK.(USED TO BE A MEMBER)
