I have some problem with our machine scotsman mv450 is to long product ice very slowly

Min freeze time 6 minutes and max freeze time 45 minutes. the 6 minutes is with perfect conditions. Example: Cycle time water temp was 50 degrees coming in to the water sump tray from water supply and the Ambient air temp surrounding the machine was a constant 70 deg than the machine should make ice every 10 - 12 minutes.now we know that the water temp from the water source is not going to be 50 deg and room temp will not be 70 deg all the time so the warmer water temp and ambient air temp is the longer it takes to make ice. one thing you wont to check is the water inlet valve to make sure it is not letting water seep through causing water temp not to cool down from running across evap plates. make sure the condenser coil is clean this will slow down production of ice.

Hello - I have a Pentair MiniMax NT that is aprox. 5 years old. We have never had any problems with it till this past week. We went to turn on the heat for the jacuzzi, and nothing. The unit shows the...

HI is a code for Water temp over 114. If this is what you have the temp sensor has gone bad. Or thermister. It will be a small tube that slides into the water manifold with two wires coming from it. A white nut sets it in place unscrew this pull out follow the wires to unplug then slip the new one in.

It is also possible that you have enough water flow to close the pressure switch circuit, but not enough to keep the water from getting to 114 F by the time it reaches the temp sensor.

Also, the bypass valve might just need an adjustment . If its bypassing too much water, you will get this code as well.

Hope these ideas help

Pentair Pool Heater reads HI

I am not sure if you have found the answer to your issue, or not, but just in case. The display showing HI means that the heater is "reading" the water temp at over 114 degrees.

This will go away if you change out the Thermister on the inlet manifold for the heater.

2004 Dodge 1500 pk up

Your truck does not have to be low on water to be running hot...you need to verify the tempature of the cooling system, and the head temp...then you will be albe to tell if it is actually overheating , or just an indication problem. Be very careful as hot engine coolant can scald you badly (know from experience)
