On top of the shocks there should be caps that pop off or screw off and there should be bolts in there you can adjust

the usual problem with air suspension on the x350 all alloy car is the air pump or corroded wiring to it, its behind the lh of the front bumper liner if you got a air suspension problem showing you need to get the fault codes out of the system to help sort it out it may be a air leak the, the resovoir is in the boot well.and i think the relays and module is in the boot area/ fusebox cars these days are not all that easy to fix without special tools or franchise dealer help good luck

The tires are wear out on the inside and dishing on the outside, is this a sign of wore out struts causing the front to be out of line. What is the fix needed replacw struts in front and new tires

Wearing on the inside can be caused by an excessive camber angle or excessive toe out, or both. Either of these can be caused by worn or damaged suspension parts. Camber affects Caster, and Camber and Caster affect Toe. Toe affects the Thrust Angle. (These are the major suspension angles involved in wheel alignment) The "dishing" or "cupping" is caused by what is sometimes called "wheel-hop" this can be caused by worn-out struts or shocks and can also be caused by tires that are seriously out of balance.

The recommended "Fix" would be to inspect the ENTIRE suspension system to check for loose and/or worn and/or damaged parts. Replace any of these parts as necessary. Then replace and balance the tires and head straight over to the alignment shop to have all of your suspension angles set to manufacturer's specifications. (Most tire stores also have an alignment machine)

Hello, I have a 2000 Audi All road Quattro, just looking for some ideas on what to do. My air suspension went out, does anybody know what the dealer cost will be to fix it or what i can do to fix it. Im...

The only way to fix that problem is to replace the actual air bags in the suspension. There is also a repair kit that you will need with them that will have the neccessary hardware and mounting parts. Usually it is best to replace them in pairs, both fronts or both rears. I would recomend having it done at a dealer or a independant shop that specializes in German cars, as there will be computer reprogramming that will need to be done and that requires special codes. If the car is not programmed correctly after install, your suspension height will not set correctly. I think you should be looking at $400 roughly for a pair, and about the same in labor.

Adjusting front suspension

yes you are going to need a technical manual with the gauged settings of the factory. This will set to default factory and you can then adjust to what the setting adjustments are to fit your confort.
