I want to know how to install it back to my computer please

Hi, there!
I don't know what software you want to install back to your computer. Just let me know more details then I may help you out.
If you have the software disk then just put it in your computer and follow the instruction.
If you don't have the disk, you can download it from internet, select Save button and Click Run after download.
There is a website and I don't know you need it or not but here it is: http://ninite.com/ . Just select what software you need and click get installer.
Hope this will help. Thanks for reading.

I just bought a new HP computerand I had my files transfered from my old computer. Now my HP 6300 printer will not print. I think the printer software is gone. What can I do? I moved recently and do not...

Don't worry. You do not need the HP disk for the software and drivers. All you need to do is go to the HP website and download the latest drivers and software for your printer. If you have any other questions feel free to repost in this thread.

And please, don't forget to rate me!

Best of luck to you!

I am trying to install a new computer which previously had a different HP3015 printer. How do I get the computer to recognize the new HP3015?

Before you start the installation it would be best to uninstall the old printer driver. Then connect the new printer, put in its disk, wait until that starts to load, and when it prompts you, turn on the new printer. If this helps, Please Rate me! :)

Add printer without disk

Hi,
Usually the wizard will not have drivers for all the printers. It may have some for old dot matrix printers.
But for your all in one device,
you have to put disk in CD drive and have to click the "Have Disk " button.

As you are not having driver cd, I recommend your to download the diver for your device in this link
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=1146331

i hope this is helpful and solves your problem.
Please rate the solution provided.

I have a old dell computer for my children. the lexmark is a new printer i do not have any manuals or directions as to how to setup this printer.

Your new printer should have come with a set up or driver disk. Put that disk in the computer and follow the prompts to either install the printer or download drivers. If you download a driver, be sure to write down the folder the driver was installed to, then hook up your printer and tell the driver install window to look in the folder the driver was placed into.

I hope that this imformation was helpful and helps you go in the right direction to solving your problem. If it does, please leave positive feed back for me.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi, Had my printer on old computer, when I went to put in on new computer the alarm light comes on and nothing else works.

Before connecting the printer to the new computer you will need to install the drivers using the printer disk.

If the printer disk is too old, or if you have misplaced the disk you will need to go to the printer manufacturer website, find support page, enter printer model, and download updated driver.

Connect printer only after installing driver.

If the printer is too old, it may not be compatible with Vista or newer operative systems.

Hi there

Hello
that depends
is the old disk a IDE disk?
do the new computer have a IDE port on the motherboard?
if so you can put it in your new computer. but you cant move your OS and use the same disk. you can use is as storage.
I quess that your new computer has sata right? and I think its a bad idea to move your maxtor disk to the new computer because it can slow your PC down.

Good luck

New Motherboard=no printer

Hi I am back again. I wanted to see if you reformatted your computer after you installed your new motherboard. If you did not , you had better do so, because installing a new motherboard and not formatting your computer first can cause a lot of problems and cause the activation status of Windows to quickly get lost.

Did the motherboard you replace come from a brand name computer? If it did , it most likely came with its own version of Windows and it is tied to the motherboard meaning you will have to buy a new license for your new motherboard. OEM software is tied to the original BIOS it was activated on at the time and is non transferable to a new motherboard. You can plea to Microsoft all you want but they wont budge :)
