Question about Zenith IQB50M90W 50" Rear Projection Television
I have a 7 year old zenith inteq 60 in. rear projection tv. When you turn it on it chirps like it`s going to turn on but then clips out. I opened the back I found the bladder that holds the coolant for the blue bulb was deflated, and some fluid sitting in the casing. Is this worth repairing, and about how much. Also some of this fluid leaked down onto the cicuit board in the bottom of the housing. I`ve never had a problem with it before, I`d just like to know if I`m better off getting a new tv.
I would check with LG/Zenith on this, there was a update sent out to add a collection cup in case this would happen. If leaked on the board it would be to costly on repair with the board is still available.
