Epson Acculaser c1100 ink blead

First rule out that it is a paper issue by trying a different type of paper

If that dosnt work
check if the gradation setting is too small when printing graphics. On the Basic Setting menu in the printer driver, click More Settings, adjust the gradation setting by sliding the Contrast slider bar

If that dosnt work
Clean the print head .
see steps at the bottom

If that dosnt work
It is starting to look like drum/photoconductor problem, this may need to be replaced (the most expensive solution)

Follow the steps below to clean the printer head.
r_1.gif Open the cleaner cover on the right side of the printer. Then, open cover A. d580095.gif
r_2.gif Pull the blue lever on the right inside of the printer. d580096.gif
r_3.gif Move the blue cleaner slowly in and out once. d580097.gif
r_space.gif r_note.gif Note: r_space.gif r_space.gif Move the cleaner completely in and out. Otherwise, the printer may not be cleaned effectively. r_4.gif Push back the blue lever on the right inside of the printer. d580098.gif
r_5.gif Close cover A, then the cleaner cover. d580099.gif

Epson C1100 K toner low, right hand side can't print

Well if the margins are not the issue, then I would change it.

But before that, try taking a cotton swab, and cleaning the "k toner", the bottom part where the ink comes out. This way before investing more money into your printer, this 'k toner' might just needed a bit of cleaning.

Good luck

How to change the balck toner only in the epsom aculator c1100 showing K toner low, but blue at the place the black should be?

Epson C1100's show toner low for a long time before it actually needs replacing (usually have another 500 - 1000 copies left). This is to give you time to order a new one. When it is completely empty you will get a message saying replace K toner and the cartridge will be moved into the front position ready to remove it. If you really must replace it before it is empty let me know and I will try to explain how to do it, although it is quite involved.

Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

Epson Acculaser CX11NF Error 'Service Req E527'

Hi.. To fix the E527 error, close the front panel (cover A) and open the top cover (cover B). With the photoconductor unit removed, the toner carousel will rotate. It only rotates if cover A is closed all the way. You can easily rotate the carousel to a position where you can remove/reinstall the toner cartridge if stuck.

Thanks

Replace toner problem

To replace the cartridges before they are actually empty you should:
  1. Navigate to the reset menu (using down arrow)
  2. Select this (right arrow)
  3. Navigate till you get to Change Toner x (where x is the colour)
  4. Select this.
  5. Wait for the printer to stop churning.
  6. Open the front door and you should see the correct toner cartridge at the back.
  7. Follow the instructions just inside the door (or on the cartridge box.)

Cant change ink cartridge - says needs mk toner,

I struggled with this and it sent me nearly mad. Epson need their heads read for not giving the instructions either on the toner box or inside the printer. What customer care? I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt like putting a sledge hammer through the ******* thing.

The other answer on this Fixya site says use the printer driver. That's not right for my computer. There is nothing on the driver about it.

To get the correct toner cartridge to face you when you open the front door... use the menu screen on the printer itself and the 4 buttons that are in a wheel shape. By default you are in the Information menu. Scroll down to Reset menu, using the bottom button. Press the right button (with the return arrow) to select this menu. The first visible option is 'Clear warning' which is a useful one to get rid of the endless warnings! But instead of selecting that, scroll down through this Reset menu until you come to 'Change Toner C', which is followed by M then K then Y.

In case you're wondering which is which - they are confusingly not in the same order as the colours on the printer. Cyan (blue), Magenta (red), K Black, Y Yellow.

Hope this saved the sledge hammer, and hope Epson one day think...

Black Toner replaced

Replace Toner with gen cartridge.

Or Take cartridge back as faulty after checking that it was opened and installed correctly.

Check display on printer for indications that maybe it needs one of the 3 colour toners indicators are Y,C or M

K is black
