The error code F 161 on a WMF 1200S coffee machine typically indicates a problem with the water flow or pressure in the machine. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and fix the issue:
Check the water supply to the machine to ensure it is turned on and the water pressure is adequate.
Make sure that the water filter is clean and not clogged.
Check for any kinked or bent hoses, and make sure that all connections are tight and secure.
Check that the water tank is full and properly seated on the machine.
If the machine has a built-in scale, check that it is properly calibrated.
If the issue persists, please check the WMF troubleshooting guide or contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
If you're not comfortable with troubleshooting the machine, it is always best to call a professional technician to look into the problem.
