Re: Forgot my password.

Your query was "a way to reset my password";

It would seem that the only way to reset my password is to do a full hard reset of the router. This is done by pressing on the reset button located at the rear of the unit between the power adapter jack and the 1st of the LAN ports. To reset the router to the factory defaults, press and hold the Reset button for more than five seconds. This clears the router’s Username, Password, IP Address, Subnet Mask and Operation Mode. Pls bear in mind that when you do a full reset, all other configurations would revert to factory default.

Additionally a user's manual is available from the fixya site.

Good luck and kind regards.

Forgot wireless access code how do you change it ?

Look at the back of the router for a Pin Hole button, it is the "reset" button.

Hold the button in for 10 seconds and release. Now you can log in using the default username/password.

If you had any custom settings, they are gone now, you will have to redo them.

If you do not know the default password, use the following link to find it.

unless you wrote down the PW your hosed on that end.

reset the router by useing a paperclip in the tiny hole on either the front (linksys and other top end models) or rear near the power connection (belkin and some others).

still cant find it? google the model number and download the users manual there is instructions as to the exact location in there.

Forgot the password!

There's a hard reset button on the back of the unit. Depress it with a pin for about 15 seconds and release. You may have to power cycle the router (unplug the power for about 15 seconds then plug back in). That reset button will set the router back to factory defaults and from there, you can log in with "admin" (minus the quotes) for the username and the password of "password" (minus the quotes). You'll want to change these under the Administration tab of your router configuration.

After that you can login in with the default password, via web
