I need to change the email address for my Apple account.It requires me to log in but the old email address is no longer in service.

I need to change my email address for Apple account.I want to add the new address because the original address that I signed into open the Apple account is no longer in service.

    You said to go ahead and log in with the old address but it tells me it is not available or some such thing.Please help me figure out how to log in.I can not even get support help from these sites without my olf address. SCREAM!!!!

    Apple should not be aware of whether or not the old email is account is active or not. You may be having a much more serious problem. I strongly recommend that you call Apple support from another phone and get some concrete guidance from them. I'm sorry I can't be more help than that.

If Apple uses normal security procedures the fact that your old email account is inactive shouldn't matter to your login. Go ahead and login using the old email address and then change the email address. Apple will then send an email to your old email address to notify you that your email address has changed and that you should notify them if you did not request the change. You won't get that email, of course, but that doesn't matter because you DO want the change.

    thank you for your reply .However I can not even log in with the old address to those accounts in order to change to the new email address.They want to send emails telling me how to change my address but only to the old email which is no longer in service.Is ther another way?

To change your email address for Gmail, you will need to create a new Gmail account with your new email address and migrate your old data to the new account. Here are the steps to do this:

If you no longer have access to your old email account you will need to work this out with the provider of the coupons. If it is something that you signed up for online, and have an account for, log into that service and update your email to the new one.

You can also use the coupon provider's customer service and let them know you need to make an update to your email address.

I had to change my paypal email address.

Here is what I had to do:

You add you new email address by adding the new address and removing the old one.

Then you can delete the old email address from your account.

1. Log in to your PayPal account.

2. Click the 'Profile tab'.

3. Click 'My Personal Info'

4. Click 'Update' next to email.

Even though you don't have the old email, it's still the required log-in so as long as you still have your password you should be ok.

I no longer have access to the email address registered to my PayPal account

Even if you no longer have access to the email address, you must still enter this address to log in to your PayPal account as this is how the PayPal system recognises you. After you log in, you can change the email address then use the new one when you next log in to your account.
