Sounds like the voltage regulator on the engine is kaput.

Breaker keeps tripping

If you can unplug the central vac and plug it into a different outlet that you know is on a different breaker and test it out to see if it trips the breaker,or temporarily rewire the central vac to a different power supply.Make sure the breaker is the correct amperage for the central vac, last read the instructions to see if you need a dedicated circuit breaker, you might have to many accessories plugged into that outlet.

No lights upstaires circuit breaker keeps tripping

Jan 2013
1) Move wire to another same-size circuit breaker to eliminate bad circuit breaker as suspect.
Do NOT increase size of breaker or it will cause fire.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-circuit-breaker.html
http://waterheatertimer.org/Troubleshoot-household-electricity.html

2) Put hand on each appliance and outlet to see which ones are warm. Outlet should never be warm or hot. Replace outlet. Inspect wires for loose and burned connections.

3) If the breaker is good, then add up total watts being used by checking watt rating on each device. 100 watt light bulb is 100 watts. Big screen TV has a label that shows 300 to 500 watts. Computer has label. Space heater has label showing 1500 watts. Iron has a watt rating label. Take total watts and divide by 110Volts and this will give amp load. Total watts used = 2000 and then divide 2000 by 110 volts = 18.8 amps
Compare amp load with circuit breaker.
20 amp circuit breaker has 80% safe maximum, or 16 amps.
If amp load is 18.8 amps, then 20 amp breaker is starting to get hot, and weak breaker will start tripping.
If amp load is 18.8 amps, and breaker is 15 amps, then you are overloaded and breaker is feeling the heat, and tripping because of heat.
Solution is to reduce amp load.

4) If you have short circuit, that can also trip breaker.
Unplug everything and then plug things back in slowly to see which plug or appliance is causing the problem.

Keeps blowing the breaker... only 6 months old

This compressor is small however like other brands in this size range draw 13 - 15 amps. Thats quite a bit of power. The compressor has a thermal breaker that will begin to trip if compressor is hot. I am assuming that the breaker that is tripping is the one on the compessor. I have seen many hitachi breakers fail. Easy to replace with generic 20 amp, cost about $10. Before you replace anything, check amp draw with meter, if within specs try to determine what is causing heat.
example:
cycling too many times per hour (check manual for recommended)
low power due to weak circuit or extension cord
using generator for powering compressor (not recommended)
using low quality oil (use synthetic if hot climate)
air leaking from intank checkvalve back to pump
If no reason to overheat then replace breaker on compressor to 20 amp but watch for overheating. Good luck

I need a left rear axle for a dixon mower it is bent so the chain jumps off, and a diagram of the rear assembly. It is blue with the levers between your legs, it has a 12hp motor. I am not sure what year...

You can eventually find your manual here:

http://www.dixon-ztr.com/node2171.aspx

There are a ton of manuals.... on that page. Looks like it will be a tedious hunt with out a model number.

If the link does not work go to
http://www.dixon-ztr.com
and click on support.

If you can come up with a part number you might be able to get it here:

They also have parts manuals on this page:

Should I buy a used 311 Dixon ZTR for my 1/2 acre yard?

Never buy one. Ever. Unless you have a mechanic from Dixon that will live with you to fix it every time you turn it on. I HATE it. If it isn't one thing, it is something else. Will not run. Tires a worthless. Seven thousand dollars of ****. Just call and complain and see if anyone cares. Nope. Cannot keep battery that works more than a summer. Nothing but trouble. Cannot get anyone west of the Mississippi to come to your house to service it. Must pull it in a trailer to get it serviced. Over all --junk. No one helps from Dixon, no one cares. Cannot wait until they go out of business. A sling blade would work better. Please get sheep or goats. Much more reliable.

Mind does not turn on. sounds like the motor got stuck.

Is it cold out?? Empty the tank of air, hook it up to a receptacle, not a cord, then try it. Mine has to be warm or empty, no cord unless it is 20 amp breaker, the starter motors on these things draw 16 amps, and a 15 amp breaker won't do it, and a cord loses too many amps. Once it warms up it is fine. Try it.

Air compressor will not run. motor will try to start but trips

I think you need a new motor run capacitor. This is fitted under the cover where the cable runs into the motor. Stephen.

Refrigerator cools as normal. Trips 15 AMP circuit breaker.

a full size refrige has to be on a 20 amp circuit, a 15 amp is just not big enough.. you should also know that this circuit has to be on a 12-2 gauge wire.. I also highly recommend installing a 20 amp HD receptacle
