Question about Sears TGE MP3 Player

1 Answer

Will not charge.

My unit will not recharge. I have contacted tech support and their suggestion was to press the EQ button for a long time to unlock the player. I tried this, there was a little icon that looked like a lock and it did go away when I pressed the EQ button but the player still will not charge. The battery appears to be charging when I hook it up but when I unplug it after leaving it plugged in all night or two days it still gives me the low battery message and turns itself off.

Normally a battery icon on a display indicates that the battery power is too low to operate the device. If the device uses disposable batteries, it's time to replace them with fresh ones. If it uses rechargeable batteries, recharge them. If recharging the batteries fails to work, they may have reached their useful lifetime and need to be replaced as well. If the unit has a internal battery that is chargeable, and charging fails to work, you may need to have the unit serviced to replace the internal battery(ies) or just get a new unit, depending on the cost-effectiveness of repairs.

Mp3 player does not seem to fully charge

Try pressing the reset button on the bottom of the unit and restarting your computer then plugging the usb cord. If still not working try charging from an external usb charger that matches the voltage specs for the aquabeat model you have and letting it charge over night.

My zune doesnt turn on and when i try connecting to my computer at times it doesnt recognize it and when it recognises it the battery shows empty and begins to charge when charge is complete and i unplugg...

If you had this Zune for a long time this will happen at times because the batteries are rechargeable instead of batteries but if it doesn't turn on you could reset it by pressing the middle button and pressing the up button at the same time.

8 GB Ipod Nano went dead and now won't charge

does it work on the charger? if not, then contact apple or your dealer for more assistance or repairs.

If it works on the charger, plays music and so on, your battery is probably dead and you need a new one.
