On my psp, everything seems fine except that when I put in a UMD disk to play a game, nothing happens! It's not the disk as this works on another psp. The problem started after I downloaded the latest software but maybe that's just coincidental. Any ideas?

turn on ur psp
press the select button
and then select reset device
it will bring the default setting of your PSP
now chek if still UMD doesnot open then ur new firm ware is corrupt and try reinstaling the firmware from the sony website www.us.playstation.com/PSP/Downloads/systemupdate
update after u reset the device once
