Well, it depends which browser are you using. If you are using "chrome" the use the following procedure: In the top-right corner of the browser window, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu Click History and recent tabs > History. Check the box next to each webpage that you want to remove from your History. At the top of the page, click the button Remove selected items. A confirmation box will appear. Click Remove.
If you are using "safari" then use the following procedure: Choose History > Clear History, click the pop-up menu, then choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared.

You can delete your recently visited webpages in Opera by following the steps below:
1.Open your Opera web browser.
2.In the menu bar, go to "Tools"

2. Clear your browser cache in Internet explorer. Tools>internet options>delete browsing history. Close browser after cache is cleared. Open a new IE window.
You can delete all the previous searches by clearing the search history of the browser you are using. If you are using the Mozilla Firefox try pressing the Ctrl + Shift + Delete Key then select Browsing and Download History to delete the search history by selecting Everything in the drop down list or After selecting Everything in the drop down list check all the boxes like Cache, Site Preference...etc to remove all the history and cookies.
