Reset factory settings for toshiba sayellite pro a200 in xp

Hi, gran kids have been on the pc and it`s full of viruses etc had it a couple of years, can`t find any of the discs it came with and was wondering if a reset can be done via the keyboard, I only did a full back-up last week so I have a copy of all I need to put back on after reset, did ask at the local pc repair shop but they wanted £85+VAT, can`t afford that at the minute so would greatly appreciate a bit of help and advice, thanking you in advance for your time and trouble, Neil

A repair shop seems like your best solution, factory reset can not be done or explained without the proper discs and tools.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If you have a backup, you can do that, off your hard drive. Otherwise, you will need to get a replacement disk from Toshiba.

Ethernet controller not found

Hi,
Check Toshiba website for chipset drivers as you will probably find that the ethernet controller software is embedded in the chipset driver file.
Install the chipset driver and then check your ethernet card once more.
Let me know if this solves your problem or not.

Graemevm

I want to reboot my Toshiba A200 back to factory settings, i have a spyware down load **** that keeps on asking me to install.....how do i reboot

If you have the recovery CD, then put that in the drive, reboot the laptop and make sure you boot to the CD. The recovery process will start up and you can restore the laptop to it's factory settings. Make sure you have all of your documents, music, etc. backed up.

Reset password on toshiba satellite pro a200

Which operating system are you using?????????
you could set a password in the BIOS, but as far as a operating system password goes, it would be difficult, at best, to reset a password without being logged in first.....
