Just connect power cables, TV output cables, controller and game cartridge with expansion pack if you need it, slide the switch on, and play.

The playstation comes on but not on the telly

Check your outgoing cables to be sure you have good connections. If using an older wire it may be bad. Also check your TV input settings to be sure your tv is set for the specific input you are using.

Our display is only coming in black & white.

Refer to your TV manual. Make sure you have the connections in their proper places. My new Samsung LED required a different set-up than my older LCD tv. I called Tech support and they referred me to the TV manual which depicts the correct way it should be connected to the tv.

I connected my Play Sattion 3, and nothing on the TV screen no signal, no out put

did you just change tv's, if so with the ps3 off hold down the power button. Keep it held down for around 10-15 seconds until you hear some beeps and you should see a flash or something on the tv. That should reset the video settings to a format your tv supports, then go can go to display and change them specific to the type of television its connected to (ie 720P,1080i/P).

I can't get my wii on line it keeps coming up with error code 50300 or 50200

Error Code: 50300 The Wii console's internet connection settings are not correct. This could include your network name (SSID), WEP or WPA keys, or any manual settings you may have entered.
  • It's possible something has changed since you last connected online with your Wii console. Try setting up a new connection file, using your router's settings. Click here for help.
  • While "Search for an Access Point" is the easiest and recommended connection type, your network may require you to use the "Manual Setup" option. Click here for help.
  • If the problem persists, try our general troubleshooting for tips.
If you are still getting this error code, please call 1-800-255-3700 for further assistance.

Error Code: 50200 Specific Error Code Not Found - General Troubleshooting
  • Try adjusting the "Channel" your wireless router broadcasts on. We highly recommend setting your wireless router to either channel 1 or 11. This can potentially increase the download speed. For information on accessing your router's settings, click here to select the brand name and model number of your router (if available).
  • Check your router's broadcast settings to find out if it is set to "G", "B", or "Mixed." Mixed typically works best, but try all three to see if it improves the network connection to the Wii console.

  • Make sure that any other interfering devices, such as microwaves and cordless phones, are turned off. Wireless keyboards and mice may also cause interference.

Xbox 360 Console, Faulty, NO DISPLAY!!??

What do you mean, no display? Is is game-related display issues? Have you checked the AV cable connection? Or is it about the settings? Is this the first time that you are going to connect your xbox console?

To determine whether the display issues are specific to a particular game, try playing a different game to see whether the same symptom occurs. Reminder, some Xbox original games that were released for the original Xbox console may show some display issues when you play them on the Xbox 360 console.

Next, make sure that AV cable is connected correctly to the Xbox 360 console and to the TV. To verify that the AV cable is connected correctly to the Xbox 360 console and to the TV, you can disconnect the AV cable and then reconnect the AV cable to both devices. Note: If you are using composite cables, do not try to set any HDTV settings. If you try to set HDTV settings, you may lose the picture.

You might also want to check your TV's settings because some display issues can be caused by how the TV is set up. To make sure that this is not the case, please check your TV's settings.

In your TV's settings, you should check the following:
- Make sure that your TV is set to the same video broadcast system as your Xbox 360 console (PAL or NTSC)
- If your Xbox 360 console is a PAL console, set your PAL settings to PAL 60
- If your TV has a type of picture compensation enabled, disable it
- If your TV's settings are correct, you may want to try using a different TV, if you have one available. Try connecting your Xbox 360 console to another TV to see whether the same display issues occur

Next, reset your Xbox 360 console. To reset the display settings to the default settings, follow these steps:
1. Remove any discs from the disc tray.
2. Turn off the console.
3. Turn on the console.
4. As the console starts, press and hold the Y button, and then pull the right trigger at the same time.

No instuctions for nintendo wii

Hey audstaples,

If you're sure that your Nintendo Wii is correctly connected, you may only need to change the input station on your TV. While some TV's will only require that it be on channel 3 or 4, many others are only able to recognize game consoles when set an external input station. Usually these stations can be found be pressing the "Input" button on the TV's remote control or by accessing the TV's main video setup menu, depending on the model that you own.

Should changing the input not resolve the problem, you may wish to double-check your connections using the setup troubleshooting guide provided by Nintendo through the following link:

Hope this helps you out.

Brand new xboxdoes not play in color on TV set at school.

Does his TV have other RCA in ports? If so, he should try connecting the 360 to the other one as it could be defective. If he connects a DVD player to the same ports, does he get the same problem? What sort of cables is he using? If he's using a component cable (RGB or YPbPr), he should try using a normal RCA cable. Also, when connecting the 360 to the other TV sets, did you use the same cables he used when he connected it to his TV set? If not, you should try switching the cable.
