Just one channel or both? Have you swapped the speaker leads to see if the problem follows the speaker? (i.e. you're sure it's not a voice coil issue with the speaker)

Have you changed the input or tested the other inputs on the amp?

If you have done the basic trouble-shooting, then what's left is a circuit board problem. It could be a capacitor drying out and going "leaky"

SOURCE: main menu screen won't stay up on my krell showcase

If the main menu comes and goes off then it is possible that there is a fault in the processor memory. Try and reset with the given code- refer to manual, if not switch off set for about 6-12 hours and press down the panel buttons to drain off all residual voltage . this might help to reset.

Dear sir I have krell showcase 5channel power amp i am take this second hand My question is I can on the power amp speaker topped sound it is normal or amp can problem

Very nice, Amplifiers and extremely well built, but they can be very expensive to service, I can have it working and guarantee it for 90 days, realistically I can do it for under $200.00, generally around $140.00 minimum and $200.00 maximum and 2 to 4 day turnaround time, providing it does not need unavailable parts, see my feedbacks on Letgo in Fairfield California under Supertech99, I have 100% positive feedbacks and 5 star review.

Crackling noise all channel when i change 110v to 220v

Sound as if you have a low voltage, check for 220 v if its ok, then you have a current problem, the higher the voltage, it will be less current flow. Hope its not a flaw on the 220 v side

Will the amp play 2 ohm speakers

If your amp has ability to play 2ohms, then it will play. It will play even it dosn't have the provision. It might cause damage to the audio output at certain level if volume level is increased. My advice is to check your amp. or read the user mannual for perfact usage. Thanks

Hello, after plugging on Ipod through my preamp hooked through my krell kav 300 integrated amp I heard a super loud noise and lost power. I examined the fuse and it looks fine. What do I do?

Sounds like the volume was way up when the iPod turned on. iPods are DC and cause a sudden thump through the speakers when they power on.
If the fuse is not blown, there may be another fuse you have not seen. Most amps have three to five fuses especially a 150watt/channel like the Krell.
