Hello, it depends what the other networks has for OS. but good tools are the already inbuilt Remote Desktop. you find it in Windows XP, vista, w7.

the VNC is also a good tool you find it here

the best program that I use is Teamviewer.
if you install that you can reach your computers anyware from the world.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

it sounds as if your network connections are "going to sleep".

This is a "on by default" to save power.

In device manager on each PC right click the network inface card and disable power saving.

If you require step by step instrcutions please ask and state your version of windows on each PC

Multi-function Samsung CLX-3175 doesn't scan to PC

I had the same issue with Windows 7 64 bit.I managed to solve it by doing the following
1. Locate the scan2pc.exe program in C:\Windows\twain_32\Samsung\CLX3170 2. Right-click/properties - Compatibility tab. 3.Set compatibility to win xp. Set "Run as Administrator"
I also added the scan2pc.exe to the firewall allowed programs (did that for scanmgr.exe as well, but I don't think I needed to).
Works great now!
Good luck!!

Cant configre printer sharing via web on win server 2003

Yes is possible. Use Routing and Remote Access facility from Windows 2003 server to create a VPN Server. Create a VPN connection to Windows server, and thus you get an IP address from windows 2003 server and you can use printer.

Are you using Windows XP on your primary PC? If yes, you dont need to install the wireless LAN monitor of the usb adapter because Windows XP has a built-in wireless monitor. Start with a clean slate by uninstalling it from Add/Remove Programs. Next, to install it properly, just plug the wireless adapter into your computer, and when Windows XP finds it, it will either look for the cd to get its driver or it will install it automatically (verify this by right clicking on My Computer >> Properties >> Hardware >> Device Manager. You should see the adapter under Network Adapters) and it should say something like "it's working properly). Once installed, go to Control Panel >> Network Connections. Right click Wireless Network Connection, click View Available Wireless Networks. Connect to your wireless router from here.

Adding printer

Make sure that no firewalls are running or atleast you're trusting your internal network. Sometimes you might have to create an account for the other user to connect to the printer locally and give them manage rights. make sure both computers are on the same workgroup so you don't have to play around with rights and security settings that way you could browse the machine via network neighborhood and add the printer easily.

Good luck
