Problem for HP HP Pavilion dv9000z 17" Notebook Laptop PC PC Notebook

I have a HP dv9030us on Vista 32bit and my webcam does not work

I have a similar issu as I am running Vista and my web cam just stopped and shows not to be installed. New drivers installed, uninstalled and reinstalled. Camera does not show up in Quickplay, MSN Messenger, Skype. It does show up on the Device Manager Tree under the USB connections. Tried everything to get it to work.

if you have tried all the steps mentioned above, try connecting it to a diffrent usb port and then check. if the problem still persist get the cam replaced

go to hp.com and on the search bar type in your P/N: and search.
click drivers & softwares download and download Youcam or HP mediasmart webcam.
