Location of the #3 spark plug on the engine
You did not say what engine (3.0, 4.4 or 4.8) you have. The 3.0 is an inline six where the number 1cylinder is closest to the radiator/front of car. The 4.4 and 4.8 are V8s where the passenger side bank (right side) are numbered 1 thru 4 where number 1 is closest to the radiator/front o f car. The drivers side bank (left side) are numbered 5 thru 8 where number 5 is closest to the radiator/front o f car.

The coil pack is the unit that goes to a spark plug that creates the spark to make it run. Follow a wire from a plug, or it may have individual coils on each plug.
If it a N62, it is on the underside of the vehicle, next to the oil drain plug. Its the black plastic housing with a 6mm allen bolt in it(thats used to drain the oil out before removal)
