Hello friend, thank you for your post!

I see that your question is listed under Frigidaire refrigerators and you are looking to replace the control panel. There is not a guide to removing the panel out of your refrigerator but if you are able to provide me with your model number I can see if there is any additional information. Usually you can locate your serial tag (which lists your model number) on the inside wall of your refrigerator on the right hand side. I look forward to assisting you. -Matt

Control System Outputs
The air management doors are controlled by vacuum control motors (18A318) and an A/C electronic door actuator motor (19E616). The air inlet and distribution doors are controlled by vacuum control motors. The temperature blend door is controlled by the A/C electronic door actuator motor.
The A/C electronic door actuator motor provides a variable number of temperature blend door positions. Temperature control position energizes the A/C electronic door actuator motor moving the temperature blend door.
Vacuum control motors are used on both air distribution and air inlet doors. The air inlet and panel/defrost doors use a two position vacuum control motor. The floor duct/panel door uses a three position vacuum control motor. Vacuum control motors are controlled by engine vacuum through the climate control head.

How to remove interior door panel on a 1997 caravan with ower windowq

Start by removing the negative battery cable from the battery. Then locate and remove the screws that hold the interior door handles in place (they may be hidden by snap in, or snap on covers). Once you have removed the interior door handles, disconnect the wire clips that go to your window and door lock controls.
I personally use a small pry bar to remove the interior door panel; it is held in by plastic snap clips. Try to get as close to, or directly under the snap clips as possible with your pry bar to prevent them from tearing out of the door panel. Once you have released the snap clips, pull the panel upward to remove it. Install in reverse.

I hope this information helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.
