Need installation driver - HP VGA Webcam

window 98 driver will work with windows xp. install the driver file right click and click install. using the setup file. or go to the windows devices. double click on the scanner in menu go to up date driver. in next box use the install driver from local file and make the file to the drivers you have it will install the files it needs. may say are you sure you want to install the driver as it has no certificate click yes., driver installed now.

1st You download Webcam Driver.

After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver
Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager s
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

hello gfmmon, maybe u not yet installed the motherboard driver.
the solution is install your motherboard driver to your computer: 1. insert motherboard CD to CD/DVD drive 2. open device manager (u can find it at control center or type devmgmt.msc on Run command) 3. in device manager window, you will see mark (it can be question mark or exclamation mark). 4. for every mark u need to update the driver. choose one of them, right click and choose update driver. follow the step then your driver will automatically installed. 5. use the step for every mark until all driver installed. if there is still some mark in device manager window then u need to install the driver manually. so u need to browse your motherboard CD (sometimes Audio driver and Chipset driver need to install manually)
NB: if your motherboard CD have autorun feature then it will more easy to install the driver. Click the autorun then follow the step..

There is no diagnostic that will tell you which drivers to install. But there is a specific order they should be installed:

then you have applications you need to install
DVD Player (PowerDVD) Burning Software (Roxio/Sonic) Microsoft Office or other admin software antivirus
drivers can be found at support.dell.com
Applications, you should have the CDs to install them

ok, uninstall all related drivers to this camera,


Now using the supplied disk install the camera software but please do not connect the camera YET, if the camera is already connected,
remove the camera and reboot,

so you installed the camera software now plug the usb camera in, it will now detect the install camera software and work.

This is the software issue. Need to install the appropriate software to reslove this issue.
1.Ethernet controler - Need to install the chipset driver and the Lan driver
2.Pci bus device - Chipset driver
3. sm bus controller - After installation of the Chipset driver - Right click on the sm bus controller and update the driver - select install from specific location - i will chose the location- Select the model and hardware type as thermal sensor
next - follow the instruction.
4. video controller - Need to install the VGA or Display driver
5. video controller (vga compatiable) - Need to install the VGA or Display driver

all the latest motherboards needs to install the UAA driver first, you might have not installed the UAA driver first you need to install this UAA driver and then try to install the audio driver ...


if you tell me your exact motherboard model i can assist specifically regarding your motherboard ...

but if you have not installed the UAA driver then install and try to install the audio driver you will not get any errors after that like previously ...

you wont have any probs to install xp but before u go ahead take note of drivers u may need because you will need to install certain drivers after installation.
if you have wireless all you really need at hand is your wireless drivers so as once xp installed install wireless then get online to install any other drivers you may need.
