Bought the lg x120 an it has a password on the windows start uppage have no idea what it is an I would love to be able to use this netbook can someone anyone please help me

Yes but its limited.the only thing you can upgrade is the RAM and Hard Drive. In terms of Operating System its a No. Netbook are design only for basic functionality like going online. Thanks hope you rate my response.

A password is required for access to the BIOS and I do not know the password. I have had this problem for quite some time now but luckily I've managed to get access to the BIOS now. I used lots of different programs to crack the password but I failed in vain. I removed the little battery that sat on the motherboard but nothing happened, I ran Hirens bootcd 15.1 and it did not help either. Eventually I got hold of a new system BIOS for my LG X110 and then flashed my BIOS. No password is needed now :) Download LG Notebook (X110/XD110) System BIOS here -> http://download.notebook-driver.com/driver/LG/X110/BIOS_Setup_X110.zip and run the program. That should solve your problem, because it did for me :)

for this problem better you go online ofor the LG site and you can fill your laptop details and can get the solution for it,....
