Revert firmware update?

If you have upgraded the firmware you have changed what the reset state will be. It should not revert to the original setup state that you got it in but in an altered setup state, that is what firmware does. It is entirely possible the system is dead if the firmware flash has gone wrong.
If you can get access to the control system you can attempt to revert to the old firmware ....however this may not be possible.
It is possible that a technician may be able to restore functionality....it may not

Two possible causes for this:
1. Power fluctuations has caused the AC to DC power supply to over supply the router with current. This will damage the router's electronics. Solution to this is to buy a new router.
2. Updated firmware: if you updated the firmware and the new firmware got corrupted during the download, you could experience that problem. I will suggest to revert back to a previous version if this occured.

I do not think it's possible to revert to the old profile pages. Facebook is updating all users to the new timeline automatically. Eventually everyone will have the timeline view.

I would try other Nvidia drivers, maybe revert to an earlier driver. Don't get Nvidia drivers from MS Update, go to the Nvidia site to find drivers and suggestions.

Reset will help you to fix the problem on the temporary basis. You need to restart the kindle in order to download the book.

Permanent fix is to update the firmware. You need to update to the latest firmware 3.0.3.

When you say the screen goes black even after disconnecting the device from computer it could be an issue with the firmware.
It might need to have updated firmware. To get the updated firmware please go www.sandisk.com.

Where you can get the latest firmware for your model.
*** Make sure when you update the firmware keep the device in MSC mode.

In order to allow for the automatic maintenance feature of this printer to work, it needs to have power, but will effectively be in  a "sleep" mode most of he time, hence the blank screen

If it's an earlier model, before a firmware update, they sometimes revert back to settings for Japan and won't work on our phone system. You need a shop to enter diagnostics, set the proper destination and do the firmware update if necessary.
