They are asking for login and password to get my wifi on and I do not know what to put in for login.
Call your internet provider.

well there are only 2 ways. (safe)
1: call your ISP and ask them. if they own the router ask them.
some IPS put sticker tag bottom? of PC with credentials.
2: if however the router is owned by you, the answer is inside YOUR router, and is covered in your Router manual, by exact model #
the 3 things to set are
go to makers web site if router is netgear go there. get your free manual and keep it PDF.on your PC.
then read settings page.

Try looking on the modem itself, sometimes they have their default username and password written on them.
Try combinations of "user" or "admin".
eg username: "admin" password "admin"
if these don't work and you don't know why you can't log into your modem, try resetting your modem using the reset button on it (or holding the power button for 10-20sec) and then try the above suggestion again.
If you still can't login, write back with your modem make and model number.

Reset your router to it's default settings.
Step 1 Locate the reset pinhole on the back of the unit.
Step 2 With the unit powered on, press and hold the Reset button.
Step 3 Hold the Reset button for about 10 seconds.
Step 4 Release the Reset button.
Step 5 The unit will reboot. Allow 20-30 seconds before reconnecting.
Step 6 The device is now at factory defaults.
Note: Do not recycle power during the reset procedure.
The setup page is 192.168.0.1, open it in a browser page.
The default user name for most D-Link devices is admin and the password is left blank.
When it says hold for about 10 seconds, don't hold for more than ten seconds or the procedure will likely fail, if ten seconds doesn't work try 5 seconds.

you can go into your settings on your touch and see the networks that are available at any given time as long as your touch is on.
if it is an unsecure network it will not display a padlock. However that doesn;t mean you can use it free, it will go to a login page or some bull like that. Starbucks is one that is not free.
Mcdonalds is now offering free wifi and so does panera bread with an account.
but in the itunes store if you search "free Wifi" you will find an app that you can install that will help you find free wifi.
if it is an open access free wifi you should have no roblem get it to hook up.

once logged in in the right hand corner on the facebook homepage you will see ACCOUNT from the drop down list will be Edit friends Account settings Privacy settings Help center and Log out

click start control panel internet options you will see a home page box To Create Page Tabs type each adress on its own line (type in facebook.com) or your preferred homepage browser
