Question about Nintendo DS Console

Some games play, some won't

My son has a Nintendo DS. Some of the DS games are not recognized when inserted, some are. It does not recognize the GBA games at all. Just tell me if it's common wear and tear or some electrical problem, etc. Other than that issue, everything else is perfect.

Do DS plays GBA games ?

Yes, but only on DS/DS Lite. There is a small panel at the front of the console on the bottom. Open it up and there is a slot. You may need to blow a little in it. Then on the menu, press a certain button (Sorry, can't remember what it says) and it will say something along the lines of 'Play GBA game'. Simply insert your game and press the button. Hope this helps.

Good Luck, and Game On!

DS Card Not Recognized

the card slot may be dusty, blow gently into it (making sure no spittle gets in) or get a clean cloth and wipe the outside of it. On no account must the slot get wet, or it will probably get damaged and will not work.

Nintendo DS message... "Unable to load data. Turn the power off and resinsert the Game Card."

Well maybe when you turn it on, it might be on manual mode. To switch it to auto mode, Press options then press the wrench and then find auto or manual mode and then, switch it to auto mode. Save the options and then it should play the game. If it doesn't work, blow into the DS game and then the DS game slot.
