How do I change the saw blade in a Teledo TKZ 205 Chop saw

Using a set of vise grips clasp the blade so that the pliars get hung up on the blade housing/protector. Then get the correct size wrench and remove the nut and washer from the blade and replace it taking care to install it on the right side for proper cutting.

How do i change the blades on a 42in zoom z turn

raise the front of the mower to gain access to the underside where the blades are, using the right size wrench undo the bolt or bolts that hold the blades on and remove them from the mower, replace the blades and tighten the bolts to the required torque, lower the mower to the ground and take it for a test run.

How to replace cutting blade

Before ever touching the cutting blade remove the plug cap from the spark plug ( this is in case the engine should fire whilst turning the blade ), tilt the mower backward onto its handles, the bolt size for the blade is normally a 9/16 and will be a normal right hand thread ( turn bolt anti clockwise ) the bolt will be tight i would suggest a socket or if you have, or can borrow an impact wrench this will make things much easier, once off replace with a new blade, make sure the new blade aligns with any pins on the blade carrier conected to the crank, insert and tighten the bolt.

What is the size of wrench needed to remove the blade on a bolen 22" push mower?

Probably about 9/16" wrench or socket to remove the blade. I have not done a Bolen, but I think that is the size for the push mowers I have done. If not that it will not be far from it, only a step one way or the other, but I think that size is fairly standard for pushmowers.

How to change blades

unplug it. remove the bolt in the center of the blade. the blade will slip off then. a wrench for this should have come with your saw. if not, use any properly sized wrench. if needed, pull back the blade guard, put the blade on a old piece of wood, push down on the saw and use the wrench. the wood and your pressure will stop the blade from turning as you loosen the bolt

Trying to replace the blade on my Craftsman edger; the nut holding the blade won't budge - now I'm not sure which way to turn it to get the blade off!! Clockwise? Counter-clockwise? Thanks. Larry...

Take a little break and spray the shaft where the nut is on it with some PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench penetrating oil. Let it soak tonight and turn it off counter-clockwise tomorrow. If you can fit a good sized box wrench on in, turn the wrench down towards the ground and give it a few good whacks with a rubber mallet or hammer. Try not to strip the head of the locking nut.

I do not have a manual for my mastercraft maximum 13 inch planer and would like to know how to remove the blades for sharpening

If it is anything like my 12 1/2 inch mastercraft planer you will need to remove the dust guide first, and then the drum with the blades will be visible. To remove the blades you need to loosen the bolts with the appropritate sized crecent wrench. Seems to be the only part of my planer that does not require an allen wrench actually.

My handle is loose but I cannot find a tool that will fit the set screw. What is it, what size. Blade screw, Phillips Screw, Hex, torx, what? Moen T2442 single handle shower diverter.

It would be an allen wrench. Any typical multi sized wrench should have the proper sized allen wrench.

The holes can often become filled with grime so be sure to seat the wrench properly to prevent stripping.

Need to change saw blade, lost instructions

1st, !!UNPLUG the saw!! Wear gloves to prevent nicks from contact with the saw blades.
If this is a handheld 'skill-saw' type saw, use a piece of wood to chock the saw blade from turning as you use a proper size socket/wrench to loosen the bolt which holds the blade.
The bolt will loosen counter-clock wise. It will probably be very tight, and you will have to use some effort to loosen it.
Remove the bolt, lift the follow guard and remove the blade.
Replace the blade with a like size diameter blade by raising the follow guard, inserting the blade, replacing the bolt, using a piece of wood to keep the blade from rotating and TIGHTEN the bolt. You will almost feel as if you need three hands to accomplish this procedure but its been done millions of successful times.

Good luck. :)
