How can I obtain a replacement disk for a disk that was damaged by the glue on the envelope?

Malwares recommends that I ask you for a replacement disk. I ordered the Powertools CD on 7/13/14. The number on the disk is 61175393; Malwarebypes 2014. When I opened the package the glue stuck to the CD. Malwares recommended using Windex and rubbing alcohol. Neither would remove the glue. They now recommend that you send a replacement disk. ID: 5YR68-B57JH. Key: YHRP-VUW7-EP6P-70X1

use a clear silicone based sealant (similar to the type used for caulking and in fish tanks) I'm guessing you used CA or superglue, and thats what melted your plastic, you're using too much also most likely.

If you have game cube games you may want to try them as well. If it plays the game cube games but not the wii games it sounds like the sensor inside is bad and you will need to contact nintendo so they can fix the sensor.

Yes you can remove the CD , how did it get stuck, during loading or when you tried to eject it? Is it a multi disk Player or a single cd player and is the loader in the trunk of the vehicle?
Thanks

How do i print on envelopes

Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.

The easiest way is to open up Microsoft Word. Start a new file and go to mailings or look for an envelope template (depending on which version of word you have installed). Once you have the template open, edit it to your needs. Make sure the paper aligner on the tray is set to the size of the envelope and set it face down (it will take some practice because all printers print differently). Press print and your good to go.

Reference

Another option is to search the internet for an envelope printing software. There are many and you can try and use to which ever fits your needs.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

Envelopes are getting wrinkled when run through the Brother DCP 9040CN. How can I prevent them?

Unfortunately when feeding envelopes it is quite common for them to wrinkle a little simply because of the way envelopes are folded. The paper is thicker in certain areas because of the folded paper and the glue that holds the envelope together. You could try different brands of envelopes some don't wrinkle as bad as others but in my 37 plus years of working on copiers and printers I have never seen any envelopes that won't wrinkle a little, you may just have to live with it.

It seals every envelope I print

The humidity is too high in your location, or the envelopes are using a very soft glue. The heat produced by the fuser is bonding the glue.

Try different envelopes, you might have a brand that is more heat activated and less moisture activated. Try placing a de-humidifier where your printer is, will help alot.

Installing handlegrips

Instructions Difficulty: Easy Things You’ll Need:
  • Razor blade OR Air compressor
  • Flat-head screwdriver
  • Glue cleaner
  • Soft cotton towel or cloth
  • Warm water
  • Pro taper grip glue
Step1 Decide which method you want to use to remove your old motorcycle grips. There are three methods in which you can use. The quickest would be with a razor blade. However, if you fear scratching the chrome or wires are underneath the grips, this may not be the best choice. An air compressor can help slide the motorcycle grips off with ease. However, if they are attached with adhesive, you may need to loosen the glue. A flat-head screwdriver may be your best bet with wires and glue. You can ease the screwdriver between the grip and the bar and pry it up gently without cutting wires or damaging the chrome. Step2 Pop off the bar end of the motorcycle handle. With a flat-head screwdriver, this should be simple. Be careful not to damage these pieces. The threads must be in tack to put them back on. If they become damaged, you will need to replace them. Step3 Using the desired method in step 1, remove the old motorcycle grips. Step4 Clean the old glue from the handle. This can be accomplished with any type of glue cleaner and a little elbow grease. When the glue has been removed, dry the handlebar completely with a soft cloth towel. Step5 Soak your new motorcycle grips in warm water to loosen them up a little bit. This will make it easier to install the grips quickly. Step6 Use your grip glue. You will want to add this around your handlebar where the grip will be placed. You will want to do this one side at a time. There are several methods that are recommended for this task. However, Pro Taper Glue seems to be the most recommended. Step7 Slide the motorcycle grips on each side. When they were soaked in warm water, it will be simpler to slide them on. Again, do one side first, then the other. Step8 Remove the excess glue and water with your cotton towel. This will clean up any mess left behind and give your motorcycle a pristine look. Step9 Let the glue dry for at least a couple of hours. The recommend time can be found on the glue of your choice. Step10 Replace the bar end gently. Be sure to screw it in until it cannot pop off again.

Envelope Feeder is not accepting the command

> Home > Support & Drivers > Knowledge Base

Solution --> Phaser 4400 Printer: Printing envelopes

Printing EnvelopesEnvelopes can be printed from the optional envelope feeder, the Multi-Purpose Tray, or Tray 1, 2, or 3.
Guidelines for envelope printing
  • Use only paper envelopes.
  • Do not print on the back of the envelope.
  • Never use envelopes with windows, metal clasps, or exposed gummed surfaces.
  • Keep unused envelopes in their packaging to avoid the effects of moisture and dryness, which can affect print quality and cause wrinkling.
  • Envelopes may wrinkle depending on weight and stiffness of the envelope.

Many applications include a tool for creating an envelope document. For example, Microsoft Word includes an Envelopes and Labels feature in the Tools menu. Be sure to:
  • Select faceup.
  • Clear Clockwise Rotation.
  • Select the feed method with the image centered and the stamp on the envelope to the upper left.

caution_image88x30.gif Never use envelopes with windows, metal clasps, or exposed gummed surfaces; they can damage the printer. Damage caused by using unsupported envelopes might not be covered by your printer's warranty.
note_image33x30.gif Note: The heat from the printing process can melt certain types of envelope glue. If the envelope flap sticks shut after printing the test print, tuck the flaps inside the envelopes when printing the remaining envelopes. Printing envelopes from the envelope feeder
  1. Insert the envelopes into the envelope feeder. For more information, refer to the Trays section of the Trays and Paper Guide on the Interactive Documentation CD-ROM.
    • Place the side to be printed faceup.
    • The top of the envelopes should be toward the left of the printer.

How to print #10 Envelopes

How to copy/print onto envelopes.
Solution
Konica Minolta does not recommend copying/printing onto envelopes, asthe MFPwas not designed to run envelopes. Additionally, envelopes do not meet the
standards set for paper specifications. Their multi-layer make-up, adhesive, and odd size make it unreliable and potently damaging to the MFP.
