    • I just bought my new phone off of ebay and it arrived here a couple days ago and I just switched it over to my number. I was messing with the keys and accidently locked it and freaked out. Came on here and read that I have to enter in the last 4 digits of my phone number and then bam, it works just fine again =]

Best Solution

Assuming you're trying to get past the keyguard on the outside screen, simply hit the "Ok" button twice

If you want to turn the keyguard off alltogether, go (using the outside screen, this is a must) to: Ok > Settings&Tools > Keyguard Timer > Always Off > Ok

That should do it.

Hi. I just bought a MetroPCS phone made by Kyocera and every time I want to use the phone it displays "KEYGUARD" and with an "unlock" button. So I hit unlock and it says "now press * " so I press the star key and it unlocks the phone. But it is incredibly annoying to have to do that every single time I want to use the phone. Does anyone know how to eliminate this Keyguard feature continuously popping up? Thanks!
