Tomtom one 3er won't start

try reset and hard reset and it got stuck with the hand and the red cross and it wont start, call costumer support and i can find the recipe and told me that if the gps is older than 1 year the warranty is expire and i ask how much it cost to repair and the DO NOT REPAIR THE GPS !!!!!! I could not belive they don't service there own product.
