Question about Acer Extensa 710TE Notebook
WHERE EXACTLY IS THIS CMOS BATTERY SO I CAN CHANGE.DO I HAVE TO TAKE THIS ALL APART THANK YOU
The CMOS battery is on the motherboard and it is used to preserve the BIOS setting between boots. You do have to open the computer in order to replace the battery. It is usually looks like a watch battery and it is usually close to the BIOS on the motherboard.

Yes, you do have to take it apart. How do you know the cmos battery is bad? Is the time wrong all of the time??Does the BIOS default all the time??
