My alarm is testing multiple times a day

Check that the battery is installed the right way around. Most smoke alarms can only be tested manually (by pushing the button). If you are hearing a single beep every 50 or 60 seconds then this is the low battery indicator and this will sound if the battery is inserted the wrong way around. If the siren is actually sounding continually then your smoke alarm might be clogged with dust or other foreign matter. All smoke alarms should be replaced every 5 to 7 years as the components in them only have a limited life span.

Kidde CO alarm keeps beeping every 15-20 seconds. How do i fix it

Hi,

Try changing the batteries and cleaning it.

If that does not do the trick, you have to get it serviced/repaired.

Replaced the battery in the remote, but still nothing when I go to lock or unlock my door or set off the alarm, nothing happens.

Your remote needs to be "reprogrammed" after battery replacement. Not sure if yours is done in this manner. This is how my remote is reprogrammed on my 1999 Corvette. Stand beside drivers side door, point remote at the car while holding the Lock and Unlock buttons at the same time. Within 10-15 seconds the horn should beep letting you know the reprogramming was successful.

I have a First Alert HSS300 10-zone Wireless Alarm System. After about 23 hours or so, it starts to beep every few seconds. We press the ESC button to stop it. It does this every day. Today I must have...

Please try looking at the keypad to ascertain what zone is in trouble. It sounds alot like low battery indicated from a transmitter(s). Change all the batteries and then hit reset

Alarm system is not activated we just bought the house and it keeps beeping off and on how do we stop it?

I would try and get the owners manual for the alarm system and see what it says about the beeping. It could be that it is just telling you it needs a new battery installed, something like the battery operated smoke detectors do when the battery is low. There are so many alarm systems out there that it is hard to tell what could be causing the beeping. It could have been configured with a audible alert that when the system is tripped by any motion it beeps when off. It is really hard to say without the manual. You can usually find the manuals on line at the manufacturers website. Good Luck, RAC
