Question about ASUS Eee PC 1000H Laptop
My eeepc keeps beeping for critical battery even if it is directly plugged to AC
1. Your battery is on its deathbed and no amount of charging will help. You might be able to keep it working a little bit longer by completely draining it and then completely charging it.
2. There is a problem with your laptop's motherboard where it is giving incorrect signals about the status of the battery. In this case you will need to consider a new motherboard.
3. If it is just showing up as minimum battery on your OS but you are still able to use your laptop for more than a minute then it might just be a problem with the software controlling the battery power on windows and in this case you will need to fix the problem with the software, not the hardware. In this case, you will probably want to find out if there is a BIOS update or a patch for your particular computer that resolves this issue.
