Question about Logitech Quickcam Chat Webcam

Reverb with speaking

Whenever I speak, even in a whisper, I get a terrible reverb on the other end. Adjusting speaker settings and such, it's still a terrible problem.

Try different programs to make sure whether its a problem with the program or whether its a hardware problem with the microphone.

I can hardly hear the sound from this 600 watt system when it's on. why or how do i fix this?

Hi, Check you speakers out. Plug them in another amp. If speakers are good the 600 watts system is to blame. Have is repaired by a qualified techy. Good luck.

I plug it in to my speaker full volume but only a whisper comes out.

check the impedence of your speaker. if it is 8 ohm and your system is only 4 ohm then your speak is too strong for your system and it will be quiet.
if this is a subwoffer check the settings on your system and ensure the subwoofer is not set down as this is seperate to the master volume.

i hope this was useful.

Everything coming through my computer speakers sounds high, like elves are speaking. I have insignia speakers.

Try adjusting the equaliser settings in ur system. Then check with ur speaker volume! Also keep the volume in moderate level. That will sound good wen compared to sound at high levels

How do you get the reverb to work--the pa isn't mine but I use one at the gig. When I run the speakers from the monitor outs there's no reverb. where do I run out the speakers?

Check for "Main out". Reverb will go to main out and not necessarily monitor out, unless there is a knob with something like "reverb to monitor" or "fx to monitor".

I can't get my speakers to work

Click control panel and when the wizard displays, scroll down for a sound settings. Set up and click sound folder and audio folder. Try every possibilities e.g. set audio to Intel (r) .... then click advance to set up volumes either you are using a desktop speaker or a speaker connected to USB port.

Audio is repeated

Whhat you are getting is feedback from the speaker of whom you are speaking to. You can have them lower the speaker volume or have them use a headset and this will eliminate the feedback.
Hope this helps. Bud

Polk Audio RC55i In-Wall Surround Speakers (can't hear whispers)

I'd make sure that the receiver surround mode is set for one of the digital settings, such as Dolby Digital or DTS, and make sure that you have the center channel level adjusted to a level similar to the other two front channel speakers. I've seen/heard this happening when using dolby digital material & having surround set on something like 'hall' or 'stadium' or dolby surround, where only 4 channels are used & the amp has to 'mix' sounds to the left & right front speakers. It'll often sound like the actors on screen are talking out of the bottom of a barrel, with a hollow & tinny character to the voices.
