Dispenser is stuck on the water function. The

Dispenser is stuck on the water function. The Dispenser will only dispense water & nothing happens when any of the other buttons (lock, ice crush, ice, or light).

Ok, If nothing happens with any other functions and during our conversation earlier sounded different. Now it points to the dispenser board itself. Give me some time to look over the wiring diagrams closer and I will come back with some better solutions.....Sea Breeze

could be frozen water fill tube to Icemaker. or solenoid water valve is not opening when ice maker calls for ice. there are 2 separate solenoid valves : one for dispenser another one for ice maker.

GE Profile Artica - Water & ice dispensor not working.


This could be as simple as the door switch or as complex as the dispenser control board. I would try the door switch first. When the door is close it turns on the dispenser controls. If the contact is defective in the door/light switch then this happens. Unplug remove the door switch and mark wire locations. 1 Powers the lights and the other powers the dispenser. and one is the power itself. Sea Breeze

The Water dispenser is leaking water


It's either a bad water valve or the switch in the dispenser is stuck.

Ice Will not dispense


Check that the dispenser is not locked. Some models have a lock feature that deactivates the dispenser levers and control buttons. The lock button is on the dispenser front cover. This feature controls unintentional dispensing during cleaning. Press the "Unlock" or "Locked" button to reactivate the dispenser levers and allow dispenser function.
