Why won't my Cuisinart CPC 600 work! is there someone who can fix it?
It worked perfectly the day before, as I was browning some squash. The next day when I went to use it, I plugged it in and the dial wouldn't even light up.
Re: Why won't my Cuisinart CPC 600 work! is there...
I assume other appliances work from the same GFCI plug?
Testimonial: "I finally bought a new one. If this one goes out, I think Cuisinart should not manufacture there products in China, and will just do w/o a pressure cooker."

At least on Amazon, the customer reviews are not so good ... only a 3.1 out of 5 for 38 reviews. Some of the poor ratings are that the unit just stopped working or a plastic housing part broke. You may have blown the motor.
If it is still under warranty, and you have the receipt, you might consider shipping it back to Cuisinart ... but you pay for the shipping
You probably need to push set again or something when it appears you should be done. I have a slow cooker and they work that way. It appears to be running but you still need to push one more button or the program will stop after 15 minutes.
there are really only two options. 1- you can try to find out if the manufacture has a department in your area and weather they sell replacement parts or if not then you can take the motor to a re winder they re wind the burned out wire and replace it with new but it can be expensive but they are really your only options.
Hey, I know this is an old thread but just had the same problem and solved it. With the blender container upside down, place the gasket on the jar hole, put the blade through the hole on top of the gasket, then screw the plastic base on top of that.
The way I had done it before was to pop the blade into the bottom of the plastic base first then screw it onto the gasket and jar but it goes on the gasket, not under the bottom of the base. Hope that helps anyone else in the future.
Also just read the manual instructions like I didn't, clear as day right there but I never bothered to read them ha
You have a Sam's Club variant of the model:
The blender parts are the same for that model as for the CBT-500 - food processor parts are the same as for the BFP-703
Do the lights come on but the motor won't come on? I had the same issue with my Cuisinart blender.
The problem is very often a thermal fuse. It protects the motor by opening the circuit if there is too much current or if the motor is overheating. If indeed this is the issue with yours, the device is less than $2 each is sold at Radio Shack but finding someone to replace it for you might be hard. On my motor there were two thermal fuses taped onto each stator winding. It took about 1-1/2 hours of work to remove and rework because of the unusual location.
Another part that often blows is the triac that controls the motor. This is around $4 but again, it's finding someone who can replace it with the correct replacement.
Is there a place in Albuquerque, NM that I can take it to to fix it?
I think it may be a wiring problem. I have onl had it a year.
