A couple of quick things to look at.
1, Make sure the gas valve is on and there is a gas supply.
2, If the vent duct is not clean or restricted, the vent sensor will not allow the burner to ignite, also make sure the burner exhaust vent is clear. Any restriction of the air inlet or exhaust will cause the burner to not function.
Let me know what you find and we can go from there.
Good luck.
Regards,

GE DRSR495EG electric dryer turns on, will not heat, motor works and is hot, but no hot air.

Well it is not the fuse. Because you say it runs but don't heat. It probably is the heat element. The only way to know is to check it. (how to restring a heating element)

GE Dryer Model #DWSR483EB2WW Dryer tumbles,

Does it get hot when you start the dryer, and never gets hot again when its running? The solenoid wire might be opening due to heat, the solenoid is responsible for opening the gas valve, and booster valve. The wire is located in a round plastic sleeve with two electrical contacts sticking out.

My dryer dosen't dry my clothes

Check the exhaust tube for obstructions. If this is a gas dryer it needs airflow coming and going through that tube. This is always the cheapest, easiest first step.

GE Profile dpsr473ewoww timer doesn't work and heat level is low

We should address the heat problem first. If your dryer complaint is "heat seems low" or taking "too long to heat", this is commonly confused for other problems. When in fact, you may really have a "ventillation problem". Do you feel (with hand) alot of hot air pressure coming out the back of the dryer or house vent-line (for dryer)?

I would disconnect and clean the dryer exhaust vent/duct (at wall and machine). Then, while leaving the vent-line disconnected temporaily, test and run your dryer. You may see an signficant improvement.

Does it heat up better?
Do you feel alot of hot air and pressure coming out the back of the dryer?
When connected; do you feel alot of hot air pressure coming out of your house dryer vent?

Heating

The most common cause of heater failure is the thermal cutout/thermal fuse/temperature cutout(any of a dozen names for the same thing from different manufacturers) a device on the exhaust ducting near the fan housing. on over temperature, when the air temperature is hotter than the normal range set by the thermostats, these units melt out,
they are not resettable, they are replaced, ~$8 each, except where manufacturers are gouging
they look usually like this 2543d18.jpg or this d733938.jpg conduction good, open circuit fail
common to many dryer models the local parts guy will have them to suit, even if they are labelled with a different make or model

Dryer problem

What brand of dryer is it? Model number? The lack of heating could be a number of things. Be sure the vent tube isnt clogged or pinched. The other options are bad element, bad thermostat or bad thermofuse. Depending on what type it is would also depend on how to make the repair, how to get to the parts, etc. Get me a little more information and we'll get you heated up. Jim
