Are you sure you have an SD card? The i70 works with SD cards, which max out at 2GB. It does not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

SOURCE: Samsung Digimax 201 and INFINEON 128mB SD Card

Had a similar problem running windows XP, it couldn't read my sandisk SD card on a usb sandisk imagemate reader/writer. The solution on Microsoft's site was worthless, having already applied all XP patches. Fortunately, I tried accessing the SD card under windows 2000 and it worked fine, so I formatted the SD card in windows 2000 and now it works fine in XP.

SOURCE: My Ricoh Caplio R7 won't recognise the SD card

1. Go into the menu and scroll to "reset"...follow the on-screen instructions. 2. With the memory card out of the camera, go into the menu and scroll to "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.
3. If the pictures from the card are safely on your computer, format the card in the camera. 4. Be sure the slide switch on the side of the card is in the unlocked position.

SOURCE: Won't read memory card

This usually indicates that you are trying to use 'newer' SDHC High Capacity cards of 4GB or more. Older and cheaper units like this Vivicam 5024 unfortunately may be limited to 2Gb 'standard' SD cards.
Hope it helps: let me know what cards you are trying to use.

SOURCE: Genius G-Shot HD55 (camera) - How to get SD card working??

For Genius G-Shot HD55 you need to insert the SDHC card deeper into the slot until it clicks closed, like opening a pen, then when you want to remove it press it again until it clicks to release, like closing a pen. Your card is recognised after the deep click insertion and restarting the camera.

Texts not working on samsung galaxy y , storage data says full , even though it has been emptied,m no texts are coming in, also the option for moving apps to sd card is greyed out

Your phone can't use the mini SD card as internal memory. Your internal memory has to many apps, and to much data. (pictures, notes and messages) You should clear up the internal memory, by deleting apps and data. Most Samsung apps you can't delete. The modern phones already have apps, exceeding 10 Gb. So if you bought a 16 Gb phone only 5 Gb is left for you to use for apps. I'm sorry, but the SD cards should be seen as an external hard disk, not as internal memory.
If you thought I can buy a phone with less memory, because the SD cards are very cheap and will extend the internal memory, you made an error. New phones from Samsung now get more than 10 Gbyte of apps, you even can't remove. So only about 5 Gbyte is free to use for other apps and messages.
Next phone, take one with lots of internal memory, if you like to install other apps.

Camera pictures are saved on camera and not on card

What type and size memory card are you trying to use? The i70 works with MMC and SD cards, 2GB or smaller. It will not work with higher-capacity SDHC cards.

New 4G memory card states full have re-formatted but still shows full. Have tried a 2G card but that is ok to use any ideas please

Your new 4GB card is an SDHC card. The S700 works with MMC and SD cards. While SDHC cards will fit into the slot, they are electronically incompatible and will not work. You need to go with cards 2GB and smaller.

Charging problems Samsung i70

I have had exactly the same problem. It appears to be to do with a fluctuating power source, believe it or not. I certainly didn't know my power fluctuated! Try charging from different sockets in your house. Mine works in one socket only! It's a single socket, whether that is significant.

MEMORY FULL

Talking about the Camera only here Check the manual for internal memory use. Put the memory card in. Use the menu button to switch between internal and card If your computer is XP you do not actually need any software to read the camera. Check the manual re this

SD CARD

If I remember correctly, when you insert an SD card, it "hides" the camera's internal memory. There should be an camera option for copying the files from the internal memory onto the inserted SD card. If not, you could try connecting the camera to your computer with the SD card removed, in order to access the files in the internal memory.
