XD Memory Card stuck in media adaptor of M45-s331

XD card was inserted but failed to stop part way and went into the adaptor until flush with the outside surface. I Pushed further with a paper clip thinking it would pop out but it only went in further. I have tried tweezers to no avail.

Can I somehow remove the adapter to get at the xD card?

I want to learn how to upload pictures from my Cannon Powershot A95 to my Laptop - Toshiba Satellite M45 S331. Does the laptop have a built in card reader?

Does your laptop have a slot on the front or side of it that is the same size as your card

if so insert your card into the slot and see if it comes up with a box giving you the option to view

if it does you can view it with windows explorer then highlight everything you want and either drag it into a folder that you open on you laptop or drag them into your pictures that will be in your documents

or you can highlight them all then right click and send to where ever you choose

if windows does not reconize the card reader then go to the website of the laptop and go to support/downloads and search for the card reader driver and download it making sure that you get the right one for your make model and operating system

good luck

also the cannon camera propably has software with it so that you can load it onto the laptop and upload the pictures that way

Toshiba Satellite M45-S331 willnot operate on

You have replaced the battery and then it worked.
Try once with power draining (remove the battery and then press the power button for one minute and then again refix the battery) and check.

How does the media card reader work on the side of the hp pavilion dv4. It is supposed to allow for a ms/pro but it just kind of falls in. It almost looks like an adapter is supposed to fit in the slot

The Digital Media Slot supports the following digital card formats:
● Memory Stick (MS)
● Memory Stick Pro (MSP)
● MultiMediaCard (MMC)
● Secure Digital Input/Output (SD I/O)
● Secure Digital (SD) Memory Card
● xD-Picture Card (XD)
● xD-Picture Card (XD) Type H
● xD-Picture Card (XD) Type M

Here's how to use the memory card reader:

Toshiba Satellite M45-S351 BIOS password needs help!

BIOS passwords on Toshiba notebooks have to be reset by an authorized service technician who has the CD available to run the utility.  Their notebooks don't contain a battery reset to erase the password.  It was done as a safety feature to prevent theft from happening and it is a very good one.
If you take it into Best Buy or a computer dealer to get it done, you might have to prove that you are the new owner of the computer before it can happen.

Stuck Media Card in the Machine

same thing happened here. Hubby was able to remove memory card by inserting a VERY small screwdriver under the memory card and catching on an indentation. He was then able to remove the disk from the slot.
