Water leaking inside it

  1. Check the lines to your dispenser
If the lines to your dispenser are broken or damaged you will need to replace them.
  1. Damaged drain pan
If your drain pan has holes or cracks it will also need to be replaced.
  1. Clogged drain
If you experience any clogged drains, they must also be unclogged or replace. If you experience this at the ceiling of your unit it can be attributed to a clog in the freezer section. Remove the divider and let the insulation thaw out and dry.

Leaking water dispenser

Sounds like the water valve isn't seating properly, so a small amount of water gets by causing the leak. Replace the dual water valve.

Hello. My G.E. Monogram water dispenser trickles water after we get water from it. We have to keep a cup there to catch the excess water. How do I fix it so it stops as soon as we get water out of t

Try replacing the Water Valve. It is located in the back of the refrigerater, left side. You should see three tubes connected to it. This part fixes the following symptoms - Leaking water, Water dispenser will not dispense water, Ice maker will not make ice and Ice maker won't dispense ice. GE part#WR57X10032. The Water Valve is extreemly easy to replace. Only takes about 15 mins total time to remove, install and confirm. I just replaced mines..my problem went from leaking water to no water was dispensing at all. I have the GE Profile, it uses the same water valve as your GE Monogram. There is a You Tub video that also shows how to replace. Good Luck!

Hi,

This problem is common and can be difficult to solve, first of all you have a air leak and because of this, your dispenser leaks. Check every connection for the water system, starting from the back of the unit at the valve. Disconnect the water to the tank first, put the water valve in a bucket and hit the dispenser switch to see if the valve leaks after dispensing water, if it does, replace valve, if not continue in to refer section behind crispers. (this is behind the veggie bins can you see any water at the bottom? If so, repair the leak and continue forward. Check under freezer door at the connection to assure not leaks of water. Again this is a process and after all of this is done or check, one of these solutions should solve your issue. I know not a simple answer but this will correct the issue when everything is checked.
Good Luck

GE Profile TPX24...water leaking from under freezer side...water dispenser works fine, but ice maker not working properly. What could be the problem...and how do I fix it?! Thanks

i had the same issue twice. 2 suggestions 1) Remove the front grill at the bottom and you will see a plastic water line. Inspect it to see if it is leaking. Turn on the water dispenser when you are looking at the line. 2) pull out the refrigerator and remove the lower panel. Follow the plastic water lines to a solenoid valve and inspect the lines when you activate the water dispenser. water may leak from where the lines go into the solenoid value. if may be a simple fix like cutting the ends off the lines and reinserting into the solenoid valve.

Water dispenser leak

I think I would think about getting a new one. It would cost more to fix it and then you may not get it back together so it wouldn't leak.
