Question about GE WPGT9360EPL Top Load Washer
Well, the problem is as stated in the subject... It seems that no
matter what type of load is in the washer whether is a bunch of
lightweight sheets or a load of bath towels it is constantly trying to re-balance the load. I can understand that sometimes it will re-balance when there is a larger load in there of heavy bath towels or denim jeans but when theres a light load in there, i just dont think it should be rebalancing all the time. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks much.
Remove front panel and check the springs that hold the bowl down onto the base. One of them may be broken or detached. On the base, the bowl assembly fits into a plastic collar. This collar may be worn, causing the machine to go out of balance. My guess is that the collar is worn or broken. You should be able to see plastic "dust" or pices on the base or the floor under the machine.
